What types of collective heat storage are there? How do these techniques work? How do you integrate these techniques into a heat and cold network? What are the challenges of these systems from a technical and legal point of view? And what can we learn from existing systems abroad??
During four short webinars, international experts from Task 39 will give their answers to these questions. The first webinar will take place on 23 November, and one every week thereafter. All speakers are involved in the development of various large-scale heat storage technologies and the integration of these technologies in collective heating and cooling systems in the Netherlands and abroad. All presentations are in English.
The webinars are organised by IF Technology in collaboration with RVO and TKI Urban Energy, and will take place on Thursday between 15:00 and 16:00 (MET) on:
- 23 November 2023: High temperature aquifer thermal energy storage (HT-ATES)
- 30 November 2023: High temperature borehole thermal energy storage (HT-BTES)
- 7 December 2023: High temperature pit thermal energy storage (HT-PTES)
- 14 December 2023: Tank thermal energy storage (TTES)
Two guest speakers will be invited for each session and there will be room for questions at the end of each presentation. For more information on the programme and speakers, see the TKI Urban Energy website.
