The SINTEF TES Workshop will return to Trondheim on 9–10 December 2026, gathering researchers, industry, and innovation stakeholders working to accelerate the deployment of thermal energy storage solutions for flexible and decarbonized energy systems. 

The workshop is organized by the Gemini Centre for Thermal Energy Storage and hosted by SINTEF Energy Research. The 2026 edition will be closely connected to Tasks 47 and 48 on Materials and Components for Thermal Energy Storage, who will also be holding their expert meetings in Trondheim on 7–8 December.

The programme will include:

• A poster session with best poster award
• A networking dinner connecting research and industry
